go metal.
Metal isn’t seen as a popular roof choice- but it should be. There are many reasons metal roofing is our first pick. Have a question we don’t already have answered here? Click the button below to ask. We promise we’ll have an answer.
A few questions and answers…
-
The durability exceeds other roofing options in that regard. If you’re looking for a roof that will last you years with little maintenance, then this is the pick for you.
-
In the long term, metal will cost you less than shingles. It’ll save you on electricity and maintenance costs, as well as lasting 4x longer than the average shingle roof.

It looks sleek and modern, and totally customizable.
Let’s talk metal.
We’re really pushing for metal here, aren’t we? There’s reason for that.
Metal roofs aren’t, in our opinion, talked about nearly as much as they should be. The first thought to most people’s minds when talking about metal is probably about the durability. Metal is durable, and it lasts a long, long time. With that, raises questions about what exactly it can withstand. Well, the answer to that is: pretty much everything we go through in Southern Idaho (that being snow and wind, naturally).
However, it’s not just about durability is it? The second thought that comes to everyone’s minds when thinking about metal roofing is the price. Metal isn’t cheap on an every day basis, let alone an entire roof, and we’ll never tell you otherwise. However, we will tell you this:
Metal roofing will save you money.
Crazy how that seems to work out. The truth is that metal is an investment, it will get you your money’s worth, and more. Remember when we said that it’s super durable? We meant it. Not to mention, electricity costs will drop in the winter simply due to the nature of metal- it just loves absorbing heat. Heaters will run a lot less come December, that’s for sure.
